Webspiration allows people to use the mapping option or the outlining option, different ways to visually represent your ideas. I used webspiration with a partner to summarize Chapter I of our book. This gave me the idea to use it as a review for tests. Students could create questions based on the material covered and attach a picture if applicable. In the notes they could answer the question, which could be minimized as needed. Using technology will sometimes pique the interest when nothing else works. Students can also plan their stories before writing, brainstorm ideas/facts to be included in a research paper/project, learn vocabulary and make connections with what they already know. I can use this with a lot of my students.

Chapter 1
I used webspiration for story board as described in 'VoiceThread'. It would be better if pictures could be imported into Webspiration.
Geography vocabulary
Webspiration is not free :( but the cost is probably worth it because of the many different ways I can use it.
